Mien, also known as Meen, in Choro-Q HG 3, had known to once be an inhabitant from Papaya Island. When approaching her, she is found sighing in which the protagonist asks what's wrong. Mien explains that she has a broken-heart due to a break up with her now ex-boyfriend. Papaya Island is full of now, bad memories for her, and thus, she wants to move to a whole new city for her to be able to move on. The protagonist would eventually invite her to My City, in which they consider nice to Mien's standards. She will agree to move in and hopes she'd forget about the memories associated with her broken heart and move on from the ordeal.
When visiting her in My City, she tells the protagonist that her heart is healing now, and she's able to move on from her past relationship. She thanks the protagonist for helping her find a new home and hope that she would be able to find new love one day. Mien is noted to become recruitable after being beaten in the Endurance Run after she has moved to My City.
Mien would make a return in Choro-Q HG 3 having to had moved to Grunge Garden and is found roaming around the lake. When confronting her, she is found having relationship issues. The protagonist can agree to listen to her story about why she has a broken heart. Mien explains how she had lived on the southern island with her now ex-boyfriend. She was so happy back then, believing that the happiness would last forever, but all of a sudden, her ex-boyfriend said he wanted to become a sumo wrestler, thus would train all the time. While his boyfriend spend time practicing his skills, she became depressed over the matter. It is unknown if she had moved to My City, then Grunge Garden, or had just moved straight to Grunge Garden from Papaya Island, assuming the protagonist of Choro-Q HG 2 had never met her.
After winning the Grand Prix, she will congratulate the protagonist for their victory and for fulfilling their dreams. Mien states that, after watching them, she had become embarrassed about being negative all the time, and believes that she should also chase her dreams as well. She plans to commit into forgetting about her broken heart and become happier. It is unclear if her statement was the result of racing against the protagonist in the Grand Prix.
Trivia
- Mien, known as Meen makes a return in Choro-Q HG 3 with similar issues about wanting to move out of Papaya Island because of her ex-boyfriend. It could be assumed that she had moved to Grunge Garden as in a different timeline, My City didn't exist.
- According to a popular Facebook post, Mien's "broken heart" is also likely a reference to the TOM'S Supra having had a poor JGTC season in 2000.
- She is on land for a short amount of time in Papaya Island, as she spends most of her time waterskiing, and is the only character in Choro-Q HG 2 who uses the Water Ski at any point in the overworld, excluding the player.
- Ironically, the front styling of the Castrol's Tom's Supra ironically makes it appear that Mien is smiling.
