Forest, when initially introduced in Choro-Q HG 2, is the president of the Choro-Q HG 2 World. He comes off as an overly cheery, yet demanding Choro-Q that seems to get his way as president. At the beginning of Choro-Q HG 2, Forest reveals to his Secretary that he is tired of being locked up in a small room all day and being the president as well.
Concerned, the Secretary tries to intervene, but Forest continues on his rant. He tells his Secretary to be quiet for a moment as he figures out his thoughts. Forest, then, decides that he is going to hand over his presidency to the next winner of the World Grand Prix. The Secretary is quite surprised at such a statement. Forest believes his idea is a good idea and tells the Secretary to let the whole world know about it.
Forest is not seen again until the protagonist wins the World Grand Prix. By winning, the protagonist is able to revisit the Gate man who will finally let the protagonist in to meet up with Forest. Forest will introduce himself to the victor and notes their achievements, stating that they remind him of his younger self. He sees the protagonist as a confident opponent that has worked hard to get where they are are now then reminds the protagonist that in order for them to become president, they must beat him first.
Forest will then challenge the protagonist to a final race for his presidency seat. The final race will then take place on the Endurance Run in My City. In the end, the protagonist comes out as the victor against Forest in a fierce battle to the end. Forest shows his joy in such a challenge and compliments the protagonist for being such an incredible racer. He then crowns the protagonist as the new president and believes they will be a great one. Forest will reward the protagonist with the president body he wears, Choro-Q149 and Stamp 100 will be completed.
Forest makes a return in Choro-Q HG 3 as a local apartment dwelling resident in Noise City. Upon initially meeting him, he explains that he use to have a stuffy job, referring to his presidency, and now he spends his time traveling the world and seeing new places. He will explain his love for Noise City and how it has a great atmosphere, probably because of the great buildings Noise City has.
Forest is one of two residents who will mention about Peach FM and will provide the protagonist a copy of a music disc called "Passing away", reminiscing of the old days. During other visits, he would mention of a Meister and how his name is considered legendary. Forest will also partially hint that he had known the Meister because of his past job, in which it is assumed that the protagonist would have had played Choro-Q HG 2 priorly.
After listening to his story, he will state that the protagonist is looking better and better every time they come visit him. It reminds Forest of someone he use to know that had the same spark in their eyes long ago, referring to his time in Cloud Hill.
When the protagonist becomes the new Meister, Forest notes that the protagonist has grasped their goal and congratulates them. He makes an assumption that the Meister the protagonist has beaten is happy for them too.
After the protagonist has won the Grand Prix, Forest sees that the protagonist has fulfilled their lifelong goal and once more for the Grand Prix victory.
Trivia
- It is entirely possible to win against Forest, by only equipping the second best set of parts available at this point in the game, or even lower classed parts in some cases. The Jet Turbine is also not required to stay ahead of him.
- Forest appears at the very end of the Choro-Q HG 2 credits sequence in Sandpolis.
- The Lincoln Continental's use as the specific body type for Forest, as he is President of the Choro-Q HG 2 World, appears to be inspired by the similar vehicle used in real life by various presidents of the United States, during the period of 1961-77. The model was a specially modified version, known as the X-100, and went on to have various improvements over the years. This is regardless of the fact that Forest is the later standard 1980 Mark VI model, which is three years after the X-100 was retired from use for presidential transport.
- You can meet him before winning the World Grand Prix with the same glitches as the Guard in Fuji City. But if you do it, the gate will not be open when you win the World Grand Prix
- Maybe he is named after the Japanese 55th Prime minister (2000-2001), Yoshiro Mori (Mori Yoshiro, 森 喜朗). 森 (mori) simply means Forest in Japanese and this game was sold the year after his run as prime minister.
- In the PAL version (Road Trip Adventure), the improperly programmed dialogue is referencing Forest's initial first time dialogue.
