Banzaf, also known as Barrish, was Ned Hawkins's mentor, and a fellow Luck Demon. He only appeared in the novel, Luck Be a Lady.
History
Banzaf belonged to a branch of demons who once served under the God of Luck before they fled his domain and came to Earth. Banzaf raised and mentored Ned Hawkins and helped him build up his empire.
When Cole Turner unexpectedly contacted them for a business deal, Banzaf was wary since he knew all too well about the half-demon's power and legacy as Belthazor in the Underworld. While meeting in an alley, Cole wanted possession of some of their magical smuggling, but Ned declined. A fight commenced, and Phoebe Halliwell cast the spell, the Binding of Names, to control Banzaf. The demon helplessly fought against his own peers before Cole struck him with a lightning bolt that incinerated him.
Physical Appearance
Banzaf's human form is known to have olive toned skin that was riddled with pockmarks, with blocky and intimidating features that could be disguised as kindness with a single smile.
