Anubis was a powerful mage from Ancient Egypt who declared himself a protector of the dead and was worshipped as the Egyptian God of Death and Rebirth. When the Avatars tried to create Utopia in his time, Anubis led a revolt against them and drove them away. He manage to invent a potion that could vanquish Avatars.[1]
Very little is known about the life and history of Anubis. He is often depicted in artwork as having the body of a man and the head of a jackal, though it is unknown if this was his true appearance.
