The Anubi are three former demigods who worked for the Egyptian god, Anubis before he banished them as punishment for their betrayal. For that reason, Anubis banished them to a mortal life and a mortal death.
History
Scrambling for Witch Blood
After a few centuries, the Anubi became weaker and they visited a witch to ask for a spell that would make them demigods again, but when the witch couldn't help them, they killed her and drank her blood. After that, they found out that the blood from a witch made them stronger and they could live forever. They started collecting the blood of witches and Wiccans throughout America to sustain themselves.
Demise in Las Vegas
The Anubi drained the blood of a male Wiccan named Craig. The Charmed Ones tracked to a hotel in the city and engaged the demons in battle until Piper vanquished them with Molecular Combustion.
Physical Description
The Anubi were around ten feet tall, had black claws on their hands, and jackal heads with long snouts and blank red eyes. Their voices were also unearthly and noted as frightening.

Appendices
Book of Shadows
Anubi
- The first records of the Anubi originated in ancient Egypt in the Nile Delta. They were demigods, followers of the god Anubis, who decided the fate of the soul upon death. After betraying Anubis, the Anubis were cast off to live a mortal life and to die a mortal death.
- Decades after their banishment, as the Anubi began to grow weak, they went to a witch to demand a spell that would return them to demigods before their imminent death. When the witch couldn't help them, they killed her and drank her blood. It is in this way they discovered that they gained strength from the blood of witches. That they could, in fact, live forever off their blood.
- They drain the blood and keep it in canisters to be stored and used later. They need to drink only a bit at a time, but apparently they're plan-for-the-future demons.
- They can vanquished with a simple Power of Three spell.
Notes and Trivia
- Despite the Book's statement that the Anubi only needed to be vanquished by a simple Power of Three spell, they were vanquished by Piper's power of Molecular Combustion.
