Volta Rossi is an Operator of the Crimson One faction featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
Biography
Volta Rossi is a blood relative of Avalon's powerful Luttazzi family, but their parents, fleeing the family's violent legacy, moved to Italy while Volta was young.
Growing up, Volta would excel in school, displaying a particular gift for science, psychology, and mathematics. Following graduation, they were recruited by SISMI as a case analyst, where their otherwise stellar career would be marred by a single incident; the escape of a surveilled high value target under their watch.
While the official report put the operation failure down to miscommunication, the truth is that Volta had recognized the target as one of their Luttazzi cousins, and made the tough call to allow them to escape. After rotting in a resultant putative administrative position for a few years, a recruitment offer from the CIA offered a welcome chance for change.
Wily and street smart, Volta is a consummate professional on the battlefield. Quick reactions and even quicker wits makes them popular among their teammates, who have come to appreciate their dry, acerbic commentary. They are essential to Crimson One's surveillance and tracking operations in Avalon.
