Chimera is an Allegiance sub-faction featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Chimera is a private military company under the leadership of "Nikolai". They seem to hire former military operators from multiple countries, "dirty" soldiers as well as freedom fighters, having problems with the law and former gangsters.
In the campaign, despite not appearing officially under the Chimera name, Yegor is a supporting character in Old Comrades level.
In the Multiplayer mode, while Chimera primarily aligned itself with Russian-led Allegiance, but they also known to has amicable relationship with numbers of Coalition personnel, including John Price, as well as maintaining a cooperation with Urzikstan Liberation Force and Task Force 141.
