• Ryder acquired the Armadilla Sarsaparilla Shoppe from Ernie who presumably was the former owner of Fuzzywuv the Alpaca that The Marshal traded the business for in Alpaca-lypse Now.
• Ryder claims to have trademarked the "Brobbler" a dessert combining brownies with a cobbler.
• It is not made clear whether The Marshal's niece, Marsha, is his cousin or sibling.
• Ryder becomes Lou’s love interest in the final three episodes of the series. As a result, he is the final love interest of a main character to be introduced.
