- The historical Willie M. "Bill" Pickett (December 5, 1870 – April 2, 1932) was an actual cowboy, rodeo, Wild West show performer and actor.
- He has a twin sister named Jill.
- His "weird" Uncle Lutz believed the Lost treasure was cursed. He also believed cows spied on people.
- He has the same last name as Bailey Pickett from The Suite Life on Deck which is in the same universe as the Jessie franchise, but this is most likely a coincidence.
- Following the events of the series, Bill moves to New York City for a year. It’s unknown whether or not he remains a camper at Kikiwaka Ranch.
