In the 1950s, inventor Ted Buchanan built a robotic duplicate of himself capable of impersonating a human being without drawing suspicion.[1]
In 1997, Moloch the Corruptor had his followers build an advanced robotic body in the computer research firm Calax Research and Development for him to possess.[2]
The high school student Peter Clarner created a a chemical compound that enhanced his strength.[3]
The Initiative had their soldiers armed with taser blasters,[4] and they developed a bio-mechanical demonoid in their 314 Project.[5]
Warren Mears built for himself a robotic girlfriend[6] and robot duplicates of Buffy Summers[7] and himself.[8] As the Trio's technology expert, he also invented a freeze ray,[9] an invisibility ray,[10] a cerebral dampener capable of suppressing a person's free will,[11] and jet packs.[12]
