Survivor

Complete Wave 100 in Apopalypse Mode
~ BTD6 Achievement description
Survivor

Survivor is an achievement in Bloons TD 6, introduced on initial release. It can be achieved by completing Round 100 in Apopalypse. Earning this Achievement will grant 100.

Tips

  • Like many other "Survive until this wave" Achievements, Survivor is best attempted on maps with long maps, such as Logs or Cubism.
  • Apopalypse's difficulty spikes in rounds 61 and above, when the game begins to stack MOABs and BFBs as well as Fortified Ceramics and Fortified Leads, making Maim MOAB Snipers less and less effective if not going for the 4-2-0 crosspath.
  • Try farming early on in the game to make the later rounds easier. Utilizing Lead to Gold is the best option for around Rounds 20-40, where there are bound to be a lot of leads, and can even outweigh efficiency compared with other methods. Rubber to Gold and Monkey Town are also good options to farm in this mode, due to the fact that the sheer numbers of bloons spawning in the earlier rounds.
  • Rounds 61-80 consists of multiple BFBs between continuous stream of MOABs like MOAB Madness (BTD5), so it requires sustainable MOAB countermeasures before Round 60. Also BFB spawns more often as the round flows, so be careful.
    • Using Spike Storm might be helpful, especially when dozens of MOABs are lining up on the screen.
  • As DDTs begin to appear much earlier than either standard rounds or alternate bloons rounds, sufficient DDT countermeasures are best set up before Round 80. They also can be fortified on late-80s, far earlier than alternate bloons rounds' Round 93. Luckily, they don't spawn in dense groups like Round 95' DDTs or Round 99' Fortified DDTs and only appears one by one before Round 100.
  • Occasionally, many camo purple bloons could appear with 0 spacing after Round 80, so you also need effective countermeasures for stacked purples and camo fortified bloons. Even they only appear once and don't actually regrow, still it might be dangerous if you are relying on magic-based defenses or attacks are too focused on MOABs, BFBs, ZOMGs, and DDTs.
  • Dense ceramic rushes like Rounds 63, 76, 78 in normal gameplay can be occured until Round 99 in this game mode. They shouldn't be such a threat beyond Round 80, but camo ceramic rushes might be dangerous if your camo-popping powers are insufficient for dense grouped super ceramics and multiple DDTs. They can also appear alongside horde of Camo Regrow Fortified Leads, and that might be even dangerous if your camo countermeasures are not enough to deal against DDTs. MIB is highly recommended against camo bloons beyond Round 80.
    • Also stack of 50 Camo Regrow Fortified Ceramics are able to spawn on Rounds 90-99, which could be such a threat like DDTs.
  • Stalling MOAB-Class Bloons in this game mode is generally not recommended, as they spawn in an endless stream with no breaks. If your defenses rely on slowdown too much, they might cause your screen to stockpile enough MOAB-class bloons to break your defenses anyways.
  • Ignoring non-BAD spawns on Round 100 is also important. After a BAD spawns on Round 100, setting much of one's damage towers on the screen to "Strong" priority helps defeating a BAD quickly. Not doing such risks being overwhelmed by dense blimp rushes accompanying from Rounds 101+.
    • You can get the survivor achievement with using Level 20 Ezili's MOAB Hex, even though you didn't fully popped Round 99.
  • The overall difficulty of this achievement is similar to beating Round 100 on ABR. The main difference is that Round 100 in this game mode spawns endless stream of randomized MOAB-class bloon waves until the BAD gets fully popped, rather than a solo Fortified BAD in ABR. The biggest threat for reaching this achievement is Round 100, not Round 98.
