R/C Plane

The R/C Plane is an Epic Trinket in Bloons Adventure Time TD. It has no character restrictions, letting any character equip it.

Strategy

• Early Strategy - While it doesn't have the highest popping power, and is consequently not very useful in later rounds, it can generally hold off the first few rounds on its own. This can be a great help for making and saving money early on, which can useful if you are trying to get a character like Tuxedo jake, who cannot attack.
• Firing Pattern - Similarly to the base monkey ace from previous bloon games, it shoots out darts in a circle around it. Unlike the previous iterations, however, it tracks bloons on screen, and fires extra darts in front of it.
• Trinket Strength - The R/C Plane is one of the weaker Epic trinkets. While it can be equipped to all 10 characters on a team, other additional attack trinkets, such as Missile, are arguably better for this purpose.

Interactions:

Its pierce and raw damage cannot be boosted by items

Its attack speed and bonus damage to other bloon types can be boosted by items and buffs

Can be affected by Plasma Goggles, but will only gain attack speed and normal type to itself

• Can shoot small missiles when on Commander Cassie with Sidewinder Strike ability activated
• Can be boosted by Warning Horn
• Does not work on Thief King's Dagger and Mystery Cave Pick as these 2 trinkets are for melee attacks
• Can pop lead, and deal extra damage to ceramics and fortified with Vorpal Hand equipped after R/C Plane equipped, despite not being melee
• Has sharp damage type, but it can be changed by items.
• Is affected by Finn's Royal Promise/Bound by Word, Water Nymph, Lemonhope, as they are attack speed buffs.
• Is affected by Black Bow Tie and Cursed Ice Ring, unlike Phoenix Wand

Tips

• Can be useful on Finn, if this trinket is equipped before attack speed trinkets
• Can be very useful on Commander Cassie with at least star level 5, and if this trinket is equipped first, before Plasma Goggles, then ability cooldown reductions
• R/C Plane setups for Finn: Baker's Shard, Engineers Blueprints, Finn Sword, Treasure Chest Keys, etc.
• Can be used on eco farms, if Banana Replicator, King of Ooo's Scepter, and/or Thief Crossbow are equipped after this trinket

Trivia

• If equipped to Commander Cassie while using the Sidewinder Strike ability, it changes into a jet fighter just like the other planes.
• If the equipped character has Sacred Spring Scarf, the R/C Plane will also gain the splash attack.
