Place Beast is a targeting priority exclusive to the Beast Handler. It is a button similarly to the Manual Targeting button that places the beast. There are up to two of three targeting buttons that can be active for a Beast Handler: Place Fish, Place Dinosaur, and Target Bird. Each of these buttons place the beast of the given terrain, or repositions them if already placed. Placed beasts can be placed anywhere within range of the Beast Handler or within range of any contributing Beast Handlers. In the case of birds, the reticle controls where they fly back towards.
Repositioning aquatic or terrestrial species undergoes a 2s cooldown before the button refreshes again; this is to prevent players from abusing this button with macros. Moving the reticle of a bird has no virtual cooldown.
Placement of the aquatic and terrestrial beasts can be shared by contributing Beast Handlers via their unique Handler Intel system but be must being connected by being linked within main contributed Beast Handlers range, however aerial beasts can fly within range of all contributing handlers across the screen.

Summary
The Place Beast button allows the player to reposition beasts into favorable locations within the range of Beast Handler and/or other contributing Beast Handlers. Micromanagement of this button can take some getting used to, but is completely optional. In order for a Beast Handler to move an aquatic or terrestrial beast into a contributing Beast Handler's range, the range of the merge contributor must overlap with the range of the merge target. If the ranges stop overlapping (for example, by selling a Monkey Village and thus removing the Village's range increase to at least one of the Beast Handlers), the beast will be automatically repositioned into the original Beast Handler's range. The repositioning system doesn't support chaining of ranges. These repositioning limits don't apply to birds: a bird can fly into and (via the Target Bird option) carry bloons into the range of any contributing Beast Handler regardless of where the Beast Handlers are in relation to each other.
Tips
- Make use of the Handler Intel system to expand range of the placements of beasts.
