Mega Monkeys

Mega Monkeys are more powerful versions of monkeys in Bloons Pop!. They are created by merging two of the same Monkey type together. Merging monkeys does not count as a shot, so the deployment of a created Mega Monkey will only use one move at most. Access to Mega Monkeys is unlocked at Level 7.

Mega Monkeys

Mega Dart Monkey: Fires three big spiked balls that create several smaller spiked balls as they bounce around the screen. Based on the Ultra-Juggernaut.
Mega Bomb Shooter: Fires a big bomb that creates smaller bombs with each bounce, Resembles a Bomb Blitz.
Mega Boomerang Monkey: Throws glaives with each bounce, and also damages nearby Bloons with orbital glaives. Resembles a Glaive Lord.
Mega Super Monkey: Fires Mega Super darts that emit an energy field, allowing them to pop nearby Bloons they didn't even touch. Resembles a Laser Blasts.
Mega Acid Gunner: Fires globs of very strong acid that cover many Bloons and do damage over two rounds. Resembles The Bloon Solver.
Mega Ice Monkey: Generates ice shards that hit Bloons with a viral frost which spreads to nearby Bloons, freezing them. Resembles an Absolute Zero.
Mega Ninja Monkey: Throws shurikens in eight directions between its dash attacks. Resembles a Grandmaster Ninja.
Mega Sniper Monkey: Fires a powerful shot in a straight line that creates swarms of shrapnel on impact. Resembles a Cripple MOAB.
Mega Mortar Monkey: Can be targeted anywhere and launches a huge shell that burns Bloons and strips them of the Camo property. Resembles a Blooncineration.
Mega Wizard Monkey: Creates big magic bolts that seek out Bloons and can choose new targets as they travel across the screen. Resembles an Arcane Mastery.

According to Ninja Kiwi's August 20th 2021 blog, Mega Monkeys are produced by a transformative process that merges two icons representing normal monkeys. Monkeys also go by a line-by-line process rather than literally spawning themselves upon appearance and performing literal absorption when merging.
