The Glass Bloon is a bloon that appears in Bloons Super Monkey 2 (and its mobile variant). It is a bloon made of glass, as its name implies. The Glass Bloon is immune to the upgrades in the Tech/Energy Class unless research is used, or Doom Gauntlets on Mobile. This bloon spawns one Zebra Bloons and has 5 health on its outer layer, similar to a ceramic but weaker. This makes it the more powerful version of the Rainbow Bloon due to its added immunity and extra health.

In the mobile version of the game, the Glass Bloon is also immune to Storm weapons, but only the Arm weapons.

Level 29 is the first appearance of glass bloons in the BSM2 Mobile.
Level 79 contains the most glass bloons in a level in BSM2 Mobile.

It is hard to tell the difference between a Shielded Glass Bloon and a normal Glass Bloon, especially if it is in a group of Glass Bloons. The difference can be distinguished from the lightning bolt in the center and the faint white outline.
In BTD6, the new Purple Bloon succeeds the Glass Bloon's role, with the addition of being immune to magic and fire attacks, while the immunity to plasma is retained, but lacks extra health on its outer layer and contains two Pink Bloons instead.
The Glass Bloon immunity sound from Bloons Supermonkey 2 Mobile resembles the Purple Bloon immunity sound except with a glass hit combined. However, on the Flash version of the game, the Glass Bloon immunity sound is practically the same as the Purple Bloon immunity sound.
Despite having health on its main layer, unlike any other bloon with multiple health on its main layer, it lacks visual damage phases.
