Distraction is an upgrade for the Ninja Monkey, first released in BTD5 Generation. It adds a chance to inflict blowback onto affected bloons. The Distraction upgrade in the Bloons TD 5 Generation and Bloons TD 6 Generation games follow a different set of upgrades. In the BTD5 Generation, it follows along the "saboteur" path alongside Flash Bomb and Sabotage Supply Lines. In the BTD6 Generation, Flash Bomb moves to the "accuracy" path alongside Seeking Shuriken, Distraction being left in a separate path to Seeking Shuriken and along the now-renamed Bloon Sabotage upgrade.
