Pistol Round

Pistol Rounds are the ammunition used by the Pistol. There are three different types of Pistol Rounds in BioShock.

Standard Pistol Rounds Damage: Moderate piercing damage. Effectiveness: Effective against all targets. Damage Bonus: Damage bonuses applied from the Damage Research Gene Tonic. Price: $25 (base price) $19 (hacked) Availability: Can be bought and found in abundance.

Armor-Piercing Pistol Rounds Damage: Moderately high piercing damage. Effectiveness: Increased damage against armored targets (Security Cameras, Security Bots, Turrets, and Big Daddies). Damage Bonus: Damage bonuses applied from the Damage Research Tonics. Price: $60 (base price) $45 (hacked Circus of Values) $30 (hacked El Ammo Bandito) Availability: Can be bought and found in limited quantities.

Antipersonnel Pistol Rounds Damage: Moderately high piercing damage. Effectiveness: Increased damage against Splicers. Damage Bonus: Damage bonuses are applied from the Damage Research Tonics. Price: 2 Rubber Hose, 3 Shell Casing, 1 Screw (U-Invent) Availability: Can be found and manufactured in limited quantities.
