Eldar

The eldar are an elven people mentioned briefly in Krondor: The Betrayal.

Overview

The eldar are known as elven lorekeepers. Like other elven peoples, they are descended from the original people of Midkemia who were formerly enslaved by the Valheru; their name for themselves was "the people" in their language until they parted ways with other elven groups. Pug conDoin learned much about elven psychic defenses during a period of studying with the eldar, and his association with them is known to the moredhel.

Aciala, an aged eldar, is among Queen Aglaranna's advisors in Elvandar.^[1]
