"123 MUSIC" is a song by ASTER featuring BBGIRLS and Firebeatz. It was released on August 15, 2024. It is BBGIRLS's first release as a trio following Youjoung's departure from the group and the group's departure from Warner Music Korea in April 2024.

Background

On July 20, 2024, ASTER was announced as a performer alongside NEO for Waterbomb Incheon 2024, which was held on August 3, 2024.^[2] During their set, BBGIRLS appeared as surprise guests where they performed the then-unannounced song for the first time, with the title and artist information shown on the screen behind them at the end.^[3] The following day, Minyoung announced on her instagram that the song would be released on August 15, 2024.^[1]

123 MUSIC은 레트로풍의 디스코 스타일을 기반으로 강렬한 비트, 멜로디컬한 스트링 사운드에 반복되는 보컬라인이 조화를 이루는 댄스 장르로, 어두운 도시 속 음악이라는 즐거움에 빠져드는 이들의 감정을 담은 곡이다.

123 MUSIC에 보컬은 Rollin’으로 국내에 잘 알려진 ‘브브걸’, 트랙에는 EDM씬의 세계적인 디제이 ‘파이어비츠’가 피처링에 참여하여 곡의 완성도를 더욱 높여, 각 아티스트들의 매력을 느낄 수 있는 프로젝트다.
