Vertexx (バーテックス, Bātekkusu?) was a beast like Bakugan. It was one of Sellon's Bakugan, but was also Chris's former Guardian Bakugan in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Mechtanium Surge. His BakuNano was Orehammer.

Description
Vertexx strikes fear into his opponent even before the battle has begun. Impenetrable body armor protects him, while metal spikes and talons from his four enormous arms frighten foes. Energy balls fired one after the other from his four hands relentlessly blast away opposition.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Mechtanium Surge
He first appeared in Interspace Showdown with Sellon defeating an Aquos Scaboid with its laser blast and had appeared with her on the ranking screens throughout episode's 2 and 3.
In Fall From Grace, he was used by Chris and fought against Taylean and Titanium Dragonoid while tagging with Spyron. They both lost
He made another battling appearance in Mind Search tagging with Krowll, being used by Chris in the Capture the Flag challenge. The two defeated a Buz Hornix and then faced off against Taylen. Once Shun Kazami arrived, Vertexx equipped Orehammer while Krowll equiped Slicerix. Taylen uses Slash Dance rising thunder only for Vertexx to use his Bakuanu to get rid of the Thunder. Krowll then uses its claws to attack the Ninja Bakugan causing him to fall down. Talyen gets back up and uses Shooting Wind dusk slash on Vertexx thus causing him to lose. Taylen then attacks Krowll and beats him causing them both to lose.
Vertexx appeared throughout Interspace Under Siege and A Hero Returns with the rest of the elite Chaos Bakugan.
He also appeared in True Colours and Dangerous Beauty but was defeated quickly both times by Taylean.
In Interspace Armageddon, Mag Mel used Vertexx to stop the trapped battlers from escaping Interspace. Vertexx battled Infinity Trister, Infinity Helios, Taylean, Wolfurio, Boulderon, Titanium Dragonoid, Pyrus, Aquos, Ventus, and Subterra Ziperators Haos Spidaro, Darkus Clawsaurus and Silent Strike alongside Horridian, Krakenoid, Spyron, Krowll, Bolcanon, Smasheon, Deezall, Venexus, Venexus Titan Braxion, Miserak, Rockfist and an army of Flash Ingrams, Iron Dragonoids, Dreadeon clones and Cyclone Percivals. In the battle, Aquos Ziperator used slop ton freezing him in place. Subterra Ziperator then finished him off using Tetra blaster while the Ventus and Pyrus Ziperators took down Bolcanon. It is highly implied that after it was defeated, it stayed in ball form only to be destroyed alongside Anubias' and Sellon's Bakugan and Mechtogan.

The Pyrus version has 1050 or 810 Gs, the Subterra version has 820 Gs, the Darkus version has 800 or 810 Gs, the Aquos version has 780 Gs, and the Haos version has 850 Gs.
Trivia
- Its name is similar to the geometric term, "vertex".
- A Haos Vertexx is featured on the Haos Clawbruk packaging even though Vertexx was Subterra only.
- Vertexx is able to dig underground, as seen in Interspace Under Siege.
- Strangely, the picture of Vertexx during the Bakugan Official video with BrightLight showed a Vertexx with a Haos symbol, but it was in Subterra colors.
- Due to Orehammer originally being one piece instead of two, he is the first and only Bakugan to use two BakuNanos.
- Even though he holds his BakuNano with his bottom arms in ball form, in Bakugan form, he holds them with the top arms.
