Mutabrid (ミュタブリッド, Myutaburiddo?) is a Baku Sky Raider Bakugan in Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge. His Battle Suits are Fortatron and Clawbruk. He combines with Betadron and Kodokor to form Gliderak. He is one of the Guardian Bakugan of Wiseman and later Gunz Lazar.

Description
With an alien shaped body frame, Mutabrid stretches outwards to reach enemies at long distances.

In Evil Arrival, he appeared in the Doom Dimension along with the other Nonet Bakugan, arguing with the evil Mechtogan, Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor about their power saying that Mechtagon cant be summoned without Bakugan. The Mechogon later abandon the Nonets to head to Earth
In Wiseman Cometh, he and the other Nonets were wondering if Coredigon and the others managed to beat the Bakugan on Earth. They were later freed from the Doom Dimension by Wiseman after learning that Drago is the descendant of the Original Dragonoid who banished the Nonets. He then tells the Nonets about the Battle Brawlers and how they are said to be the best in the world. When Wiseman asked them for their help in reving the Mechtagon Betadron asks why, Wiseman tells them they can get revenge on Drago. When Wiseman asked them for their help in reving the Mechtagon Betadron asks why, Wiseman tells them they can get revenge on Drago. Mutabrid then asks if it worth the risk if it means they can escape. Mutabrid and the others except his deal. After being freed, Mutabrid appears with the Darkus Nonets on Earth beating an Subterra Fangoid by using his blasts on it taunting Drago asking him if he was scared. He and the others then fought Drago, Jakkor and Radizen with Mutabrid taking on Radizen. Radizen uses abis play causing him to take damage. He then used Imprecnce causing Radizen to get a major headache. Radizen then used Slam leaf to break out of his dark prison. After Betadron tells the bralwers who the Nonets are, he helped summon the evil Mechtogan and was later defeated alongside the other Nonets when they lost control of Mechtavius Destroyer.
In Mysterious Bond, he, Betadron, and Kodokor fought against Fusion Dragonoid and Reptak. They combined into Gliderak and took out Drago and Reptak's suit Doomtronic. but were ultimately defeated when Drago and Reptak formed into Aeroblitz.
In The Prodigal Bakugan, he was seen in ball form with Kodokor and the other Nonets.
In Combination Impossible, He and the other Nonets then listed as Worton told them that they should target Marucho Marukura and Radizen two of the weakest Bralwers.
In Enemy Allies, he battled the Brawlers Bakugan (except Skytruss and Orbeum) along with the other Nonets in the park. He was mostly battling Jaakor where he turned invisible. Jaakor wasn't fooled by his act and used his sword to make him visible again. He was also shown getting attacked by his supreme jet shot alongside Worton, Betadron, and Spaterix. He and the Nonets later summoned the evil Mechtogan. They were defeated when Mechtavius Destroyer lost the battle.
In Gunz Blazing, he was seen in ball form with the other Nonets.
In Battle Suit Bash, he along with Betadron and Kodokor fought against the Brawlers but this time with the three Battle Suits Wiseman stole from Brawlers headquarters. He was battling against Jaakor with the Battle Suit Fortatron. In the end Wiseman retreated because Dan wanted the Battle Suits back and was close to achieving that. Mutabrid and the other Darkus Nonets were transported back to Wiseman's headquarters.
In Countdown to Doomsday, he battled the Brawlers along with the other Nonets. He used the Battle Suit Clawbruk. He later fused into Gliderak and battled Aeroblitz. He then helped summon the evil Mechtogan and was later transported back to Wiseman's headquarters along with the other Nonets when Mechtavius Destroyer defeated Dragonoid Destroyer.
In The Eve of Extermination, he battled the Brawlers Bakugan alongside the other Nonets in a staduim. He, Betadron and Kodokor got attacked by Drago's Dragon Astrial. He then summoned the evil Mechtogan along with the other Nonets. While in the cloud he and the nonets chanted for the death of Drago which fulfilled the Mechtogan's powers. He was later defeated when Mechtavius Destroyer lost the battle to Flytris and Thorak.
In Gunz Lives, Wiseman throws him, Betadron, Kodokor and Tremblar later into the fight causing him to fuse into Gliderak and battle Drago in his battle suit Defendtrix, with Betadron explaining the Nonets' deep desire for his elimination and how they can never be turned after Drago tries to convince them that they are being used while the Nonets (expect Balista) fought the Brawlers' Bakugan (except Roxtor). Instead of completing their goal of defeating Drago, he and all the other Bakugan were defeated by a rampaging Coredegon.
In Evil Evolution, he is seen being defeated by Coredegon along with the other Nonets. Mutabrid is later trapped in a cave leading to the Doom Dimension with the other Nonet Bakugan by Wiseman. They later escape from the cave (without Worton), team up with Gunz Lazar and begin to battle Mechtavius Destroyer.
In Evil vs. Evil, he and the other Nonets (except Balista and Worton) were shown confronting Mechtavius Destroyer angry that he robbed them of their vengeance by sending the Bralwers to the Doom Demension. After the Mechtagon threated to make them part of him by killing them he knocks them all out causing Gunz to take them to a forest to discuss a battle plan. Mutabrid was in agrement to all work togther to beat the robot. After coming back to the battlefield, he battled against Mechtavius Destroyer alongside the Nonets (except Balista and Worton). After being shot into battle Mutabrid tried to combine with Betadron and Kodokor which ended up failing due to Mechtavius Desteroyrs lasers attacking them. He, Betadron and Kodokor tried combining again but was attacked by Mechtavius Destroyer injuring him badly. Before he could turn back into ball form, Mechtavius Destroyer killed him and absorbed all of his energy. This meant that he never battled the robot with Tremblar.
In Doom Dimension Throwdown and Blast From the Past, he appeared in flashbacks showing his death.

The Aquos version has 930 Gs, the Haos version has 940 Gs, the Pyrus version has 960 Gs, the Subterra version has 830 Gs, with the BakuEclipse version having 1000Gs, and the Ventus version has 920 Gs. Mutabrid's ball form in the game is missing numerous pieces from his anime version. His feet are not double-jointed and his "wings" are missing hands, similar to Kodokor's wings.
Trivia
- Mutabrid's body in Bakugan form has some similarities to that of Glotronoid.
- In ball form, Mutabrid appears to have an extra head on top of his two eyes, which suggests he may have had a hidden face in Bakugan form.
- One of his abilities, Imprison, shares the name with a psychic type move from Pokémon.
- Also, this move was longer in the original version, where he waves his hands first, which is some sort of confusion, before the actual ability.
- When he was killed by Mechtavius Destroyer, he died in a similar fashion as Nova Lion, with his body vanishing and he sparkled briefly. This could mean if a Bakugan does not return to ball form after suffering heavy damage, they could perish.
