Tyler Stern was a billionaire and founder of Stern Industries, who managed to subdue and contain a Predator within a biosphere to study.
Unbeknownst to him, Stern's Predator had adapted exceedingly to its new environment, and had began testing him and his security, culminating in chaos erupting when it slaughtered a security team. Stern eventually confronted the Predator by himself, and managed to fatally wound it, but not before it activated its Self-Destruct Device, killing the both of them and destroying the entire facility.
Biography
Capturing a Predator

At some point, Stern had managed to capture a live Predator. Amputating his arm right arm to prevent it from activating its Self-Destruct Device (the arm was later placed inside a tank), Stern had the creature transferred to a specially-constructed biosphere, where he would study the creature within the enclosure, providing it human test subjects to hunt. Stern ultimately expressed a desire to make contact with his prisoner, hoping that it would eventually communicate with him after accepting its imprisonment.
Stern's new head of security, Falkner, however, was sceptical, believing that Stern was severely underestimating the creature and that the latter was toying with him, also noting that the biosphere had been suffering from recent surveillance blackouts and implications of unauthorised exiting of the dome. Stern, however, dismissed his concerns and continued with his research.
Eventually, chaos erupted within the facility after the Predator was perceived dead, it's life signs fading. Stern called in security to investigate without Falkner's permission. As the security was suddenly attacked by the Predator, Falkner contacted US special forces to pacify the situation, leading to Stern to brutally murder him by bludgeoning him to death with the tank containing the Predator's arm.
Showdown with the Captive and Death

After executing the one remaining security member within the facility, Stern equips himself with the creatures' wrist-gauntlet and enters the creatures enclosure. He eventually encounters his prisoner, and after a brief skirmish, Stern is able to shoot it with a hyper-lethal poisoned dart, before having his arm partially ripped off. As both begin dying, the Predator activates its Self-Destruct Device, and the blast destroys the entire facility.
