Colonel Falkner was head of security at billionaire Tyler Stern's biosphere. The biosphere itself was to enclose an imprisoned Predator for the purpose of study, but Falkner himself believed Stern underestimated the creature.
Falkner was killed by Stern after a snafu within the biosphere led him to contact government special forces, with Stern bludgeoning him to death in response.
Biography
Prior encounter

Prior to working as a security chief, Falkner was head of a training camp for contra rebels in Nicauagra 1984. Suddenly, his camp was attacked and massacred by a Yautja, leaving his face disfigured and himself the sole survivor.
Working with Tyler Stern

Due to his encounter with a hunter, Falkner was hired as Tyler Stern's head of security at an enclosure that contained a Predator for study.
After being showed a demonstration of the creature hunting a human test subject, Falkner expressed his scepticism of Stern's methods, believing that it shouldn't be underestimated and noting noting that the biosphere has lately been suffering from suspicious surveillance blackouts and implications of unauthorised exiting of the dome. Falkners concerns were dismissed by Stern, however.
Death
- "Got a special forces unit already on their way here. As of now, this operation is under government jurisdiction. Only reason you've lasted this long is because we wanted someone on the inside to see how far you'd taken this thing."

Ultimately, chaos erupts within the biosphere after the Captive ambushed Stern's security team after feigning death. Not wanting to take any chances, Falkner contacts a US special forces team to quell the situation, but Stern responds by bludgeoning Falkner to death with a tank, killing him.
