Lieutenant General George March was a member of the United Systems Army. In 2217, March traveled to Europa-5 to parley with the elite synthetic force known as Steel Team and gain their involvement in a mission to the Xenomorph–infested planet Tobler-9. March charged Steel Team with retrieving a valuable biological substance from Tobler–9 to inoculate the survivors of a nuclear disaster on the farming world Demeter-2, with the promise of granting the synthetics citizenship within the United Systems.
March accompanied Steel Team to Tobler–9, and remained in orbit while the synthetics went about the mission. He later headed to the planet's surface to personally take charge of the substance; aware that no political support would be given for Steel Team's citizenship, March intended to abandon them on Tobler–9. However, March and his subordinates were killed by a mutated scavenger.
