The Ferals, also known as the Tomogo, were a group of primitive humans residing on the Far Spinward Colonies planet KOI-784.01. Originally colonists from the mining outpost Dylan City, the Ferals lost all sense of civilization following societal collapse at the colony after the Far Spinward Colonies were isolated from the Middle Heavens in 2110. Taking up residence in the Atmosphere Processing Plant, the Ferals terrorized the remaining sane colonists with makeshift weapons such as bone knives and spears, and abducted several. The Ferals were encountered by an expedition from the United Nations Interstellar Settlement Corps' Great Mother Mission in 2186.
