- "The company wants the xenotech. You don't give a shit about their lives. So do not insult me by trying to game my emotions. I'll follow Captain Paget into hell. I'll do anything she tells me to do...Even if it's leave her behind."
- ―Delaria to Lorimer (from Aliens: Life and Death)
Delaria was a member of the United States Colonial Marine Corps. He was part of a 31-Marine platoon under the command of Captain Paget, aboard the combat ship Hasdrubal that landed on the planet Tartarus, kick-starting a massive series of events that led to an all out battle for survival against a clan of Yautja, mutated Xenomorphs and the godlike Engineers.
Biography
Exploring the planet
- "'Whoa. You had a party and didn't invite us?"
- ―Delaria to Sergeant Roth upon missing the firefight with the Predators (from Predator: Life and Death)
Delaria was part of the combat ship Hasdrubal on a mission to prosecute any potential illegal prospectors on the planet, LV-797, nicknamed Tartarus. The Hasdrubal was serving the interests of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, which had scheduled the planet for terraforming.

Upon landing on the planet, the platoon was split into two squads by Captain Paget, with Delaria accompanying Sergeant Roth's squad. After coming across a large ruin of a tractor unit, Delaria and the others suddenly encountered lone survivor Laurence Goode, a Seegson asset-stripper who warned the marines that they never should have come to the planet.
After the squad regrouped at a recently discovered Seegson excavation site, Goode explained that his crew were slaughtered by unknown assailants. Captain Paget ordered Roth and his squad to search for any remnants of Goode's crew. During their patrol, Roth told Delaria to sweep the right. In Delaria's absence, the squad was suddenly ambushed by a clan of Yautja. Delaria caught up with the squad in the aftermath of the fight where the Marines were able to drive the Predators back.
Plan to secure the derelict
- "They got Talbot. The damn way they move, Delaria. They own this bush."
"Lost Loman and Keynes too. Trackers seem to be the only edge we got." - ―Paget and Delaria (from Predator: Life and Death)
With Delaria and the others reuniting with Paget at the excavation site, recovered survivor Melville explained to the Marines that the hunters seemed to be protecting the Juggernaut ship that Paget's squad had recently discovered from invaders, wishing to uncover it's secrets for themselves.
Paget decided to send Sergeant Roth and his team into one of their dropships to fly over to the Juggernaut and secure its interior whilst Paget's squad, including Delaria, approached the vessel by foot, attempting to sweep the forest using M314 Motion Trackers to flush out the hunters.
Delaria and the others suddenly became ambushed by a large number of Predators, and a brutal skirmish ensued, whilst Roth's squad eventually managed to get inside the interior of the derelict, with Singer citing that he could get the ship operational. Whilst dealing with the hunters, a Yautja Elder, the Cracked Tusk Predator, who was stalking Roth's squad inside the Juggernaut, ordered all remaining Yautja to retreat to the vessel and stop the Marines. Roth's squad eventually managed to kill Cracked Tusk and get the derelict flying, with Singer intending to send it to the nearest USCM facility, Ganymede station. As Paget and her squad witnessed the Juggernaut lifting off, Delaria questioned Paget on the hunters. She replied with "they can find some other poor bastards to hunt. We are leaving".
Back at the Hasdrubal
- "...Captain Paget gave me specific and direct orders before she deployed. If she get's into trouble, I do not go looking for her without her express authority. I don't risk the ship. I get the hell out. And if contact has been lost, I'm not going to receive that authority. So whatever my heart says, I have orders"
- ―Delaria to Lorimer (from Aliens: Life and Death)

With the Marines having returned to the Hasdrubal, Delaria was manning a terminal aboard the flight deck, as Paget and Lorimer discussed matters.
It was revealed that Roth and the other Marines inside the Juggernaut had awakened a hostile Engineer, and had taken control of the derelict, much to Paget and the rest of the crew's unawareness. Delaria suddenly notified Paget that the vessel had departed to an unknown destination, and Paget ordered the Hasdrubal to follow the ship.

For six days the Hasdrubal had followed the derelict until the ship reached the desolate moon LV-223. Delaria stayed aboard the ship as Paget and Ancane were able to recover the surviving Marines in the aftermath of a Xenomorph attack. In a bid to bring back Geryon survivor Chris Hanlock, who had been captured by the Aliens, Paget devised a rescue mission, requiring Delaria to stay aboard the Hasdrubal, much to the latter's annoyance.
A few hours later, Delaria attempted to contact the squad on the moon, but to no success. Delaria informed Lorimer that although a recovery mission may be necessary, Paget gave him direct orders not to do so without her expressed authority, otherwise they risk the Hasdrubal. This disappointed Lorimer, who suggested that they could be in trouble, Delaria replied that he knew Lorimer didn't "give a shit" about the Marines, and only cared for the xenotech located on the moon; he'll do anything that Paget tells him to do, even if that be to leave her behind.

Death
Later, after a huge battle against the Xenomorphs and a relentless Engineer, Paget attempted to contact Delaria for evac, to no response. It was revealed that the Tartatus Predator clan had boarded the Hasdrubal and slaughtered all remaining personnel aboard, including Delaria.
Personality and Traits
Delaria respected Paget massively, and was greatly loyal to her. He was also aware that his obedience would be tested when Paget and her squad were in trouble, and although he wished to rescue the group, he ultimately honored Paget's orders and stayed behind on the Hasdrubal.
Trivia
- Odly, there seems to be an inconsistency with Delaria's facial design in Aliens: Life and Death #2. Although generally depicted as having feminine facial features, other panels depicted him as far more masculine.
