Switch Blasts (スイッチブラスト Suicchiburasuto?) is an arte type and battle feature exclusive to Tales of Berseria.
Function
Switch Blasts are special strike artes in Tales of Berseria related to the switching system. A character is switched in to replace another character at the cost of 1 BG, and that character performs a damaging Switch Blast on entry. Each character has their own unique Switch Blast with their own effects, such as stealing buffs or inflicting Stun. All of them are also capable of inflicting knockdown to provide the new character with some breathing room. Finally, a Switch Blast between a specific pair of characters can trigger a Dual Mystic Arte if the correct ventite is obtained and both members of the pair each have at least 5 BG.
