- "You've heard of a plant called Vitura? It grows in South America. In fact, it thrives in Corto Maltese, making the subject extremely susceptible to suggestion while retaining no memory of their actions."
- —Malcolm Merlyn to Oliver Queen[src]
Vitura is a drug that makes its users highly susceptible to suggestion. It also causes memory loss.[1]
History
Vitura was used on a man in 2010 by Chien Na Wei in order to get him to steal a vial of the super-virus Omega.[1]
Before learning that he had traces of Vertigo in his system, Sara Lance suggested that an angry Oliver Queen was under the influence of Vitura, causing him to unintentionally hurt John Diggle.[2]
Vitura was used on Thea Queen by Malcolm Merlyn in order to have her kill Sara. Malcolm then blackmailed Oliver to have to face the League of Assassins on her behalf and, were he to kill Ra's al Ghul, he would thereby clear Malcolm's blood debt.[1]
Ruvé Adams gave Vitura to Alex Davis, claiming they were supplements. This caused him to become loyal to H.I.V.E. and staying on Tevat Noah with Thea Queen.
