Mercury Labs

Mercury Labs was a research company located in Central City. The company facility was destroyed when Earth-1's Central City was attacked during the Metapocalypse.[1]

History

In 2003, Sylbert Rundine was burglarising the lab but a security guard appears and he killed him, which wrongfully lead to the arrest of David Ratchet who look like Sylbert.[2] First sighting of harry wells happened in this lab.

Jason Rusch sent his résumé in to S.T.A.R. Labs and Mercury Labs, but was accepted by the latter.[3]

In December of 2014 a doctor working late before Christmas is greeted by a security guard named Jimmy. Jimmy intriguingly asked what he was working on but the doctor only gave an answer of mystification by saying "the future." An alarm buzzed in the facility, and the patrolling guards have the doctor get to safety. The Reverse-Flash killed both of the guards instantaneously. He appeared in front of the door, staring menacingly at the doctor before leaving. When questioned later by Detective Thawne, the doctor describes The Reverse-Flash as "a blur" prompting Detective West and Barry to question him further where he says he looked to be a man in a yellow suit and that he was looking for something.[4]

After losing her husband, Ronnie Raymond, Caitlin Snow chose to work at Mercury Labs because staying at S.T.A.R. Labs reminded her too much of her loss. Cisco Ramon visited her for some help in regards to "Atom-Smasher". Later, Barry Allen also paid Caitlin a visit. They watched a video Eobard Thawne left for Barry, and witnessed his confession of murdering Nora Allen.[5]

Some weeks later, Harrison Wells from an alternate Earth broke in and stole an energy-firing gun, with Dr. McGee catching his face.[6]

The Mercury Labs facility was destroyed by Black Siren during the Metapocalypse when Zoom brought his loyal followers to Earth-1. Fortunately, the Flash was able to help evacuate all the occupants.[1]

Erased future

In the year 2048 in the timeline where Nora West-Allen came from, Mercury Labs recruited August Heart as an intern. However, Heart was later fired due to administering tachyons on 17 comatose patients.[7]
