  • Favorite HKT48 member: Anai Chihiro
    • Izumi admires how girly and ladylike she is
  • Likes: Strawberries and strawberry-related goods
    • Before debut her nickname was to be "Ichigo", and she already had an accompanying cutesy catchphrase. However, she changed her mind and debuted with another one. Occasionally the other members still tease her with this old nickname
  • Special skill: Basketball
  • Good friends with: Tashima Meru, Ui Mashiro, Okamoto Naoko, Hokazono Hazuki
    • Acts tsundere towards Tashima Meru, who says that she has a crush on her
      • Around the middle of 2015 they grew closer to each other and became good friends, after which they started to go on trips with each other. Inside the group they also started to get work together, for example going on a date during Odekake episode 141
      • When they are together she often acts like the tsukkomi to Meru's boke
    • Hokazono Hazuki regards her as a bit of a mentor
  • Future ambition: Singer-songwriter
  • Is good at dancing and is sporty, and she's also the vice-captain in her basketball club
  • Is reliable, helpful and has a big sense of responsability. These things, together with her composure, often gets others to call her cool and ikemen
    • On the other hand, when she feels like she let someone down she tends to cry a lot
  • Gets easily embarrassed
    • Because of that fans started to call her cute when she introduces herself in the stages, though she doesn't get as embarrassed when it happens in a girls-only audience stage
    • At one point the members told a story about how she got a bloody nose after looking at Tomonaga Mio's gravure, after this she got so embarrassed that she started to cry
  • Has an older sister and a cat called "Ree-san"
  • Admires Yamamoto Sayaka
  • Plays guitar and occasionally uploaded videos of her singing and playing her guitar to her Google+. She says that this is one of the main things she wants to improve on for herself
  • One of the 50 winners of the Young Jump Gravure Competition
