- Failed AKB48's 1st Generation Auditions
- She is the eldest of four siblings.
- Is a college graduate, and has a teaching license
- Her grandmother, who raised her because her parents were busy with work, passed away 2 days before the announcement of Ohori's solo debut.
- Was given a solo single (Amai Kokansetsu) under the name of Ohori Meshibe (大堀めしべ), with the condition that if it didn't sell over 10,000 copies, Ohori would graduate from AKB48. Ohori sold more than 10,000 copies and stayed in the group.
- The process from the announcement of her solo debut to the final sales count was featured in AKB 0ji 59fun! and AKBINGO!
- Was ranked 1st in the fan election for SDN48's first single, allowing her to be the Center for GAGAGA. Making her the first AKB48 2nd Generation to be A-Side Center
- She appeared at AKB48's 7th Anniversary Show to sing Himawari and announce that she would be getting married to Kanazawa Tatsuya in August 2013 (in Hawaii)
- She gave birth to a daughter the following June.
- Announced her 2nd pregnancy on July 24, 2024. She would give birth on December 25 (Christmas Day) of that year.
