- She auditioned for Morning Musume's 8th generation.
- On June 15, 2015, a year after her graduation, she released a one-shot adult video under the name Mikami Yua through the Muteki label. The surprise success of the video led to her entering the AV industry. She has since become one of Japan's most celebrated adult entertainment actresses, releasing over 150 AV films.
- In November 2016, she transferred from Muteki to S1 No. 1 Style.
- She retired from the AV industry at the height of her popularity on August 16, 2023, her 30th birthday.
- She continues to work in the music industry, even while performing in AV. She released a solo single entitled "Ribbon" on November 22, 2016.
- She debuted as a second generation member of Ebisu★Muscats (later Ebisu Muscats 1.5) on April 13, 2016. She graduated from the group upon its disbandment on August 13, 2022.
- Debuted in the K-Pop girl group Honey Popcorn on March 21, 2018.
- The original debut date was March 14, but was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
