Ryan Tricks is a magician from Season 15 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Judge Cuts.
Background
Ryan's real name is Ryan Hicks. I first found my passion for magic at the age of 8 and decided to take it seriously as a profession in 2010. Since then, I have racked up an unimaginable 500 million + views on social media across the globe. I have had the pleasure of performing for the biggest celebrities in the world, Post Malone, Floyd Mayweather, Kevin Hart, Simon Cowell to name a few. Magic has truly taken me across the globe. I have also been fortunate enough to work with massive companies/corporations such as Lamborghini, Facebook, DP World, The FA Cup and more.
To date, I have had two TV Shows; “Ryan Tricks on the Streets” with the BBC and “Dirty Tricks Magic Man” on channel 5. Both have now been sold across the globe.[1]
In 2013, he auditioned for the seventh season of 'Britain's Got Talent', however his audition was aired on the sister show 'Britain's Got More Talent'.
Audition
Ryan Tricks's audition in Episode 1501 consisted of having Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel volunteer and sit at a table with him. He then had each select a card from two different decks which was revealed to be the same card. He then had Howie wear a blindfold and created a connection between him and Simon through touching their hands. Finally he had Simon take a cookie out of a container and Howie correctly guessed the item while still wearing the blindfold. Simon, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie all voted "Yes", sending him to the Judge Cuts round.
Judge Cuts
Ryan Tricks' Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1508 consisted of performing a series of mentalist tricks with Alesha Dixon correctly predicting a person's name on her phone as well as the message she sent to that person. His performance was not strong enough to advance to the Quarterfinals, eliminating him from the competition along with Ty Barnett and The Ninja Twins.
