Johnny Showcase's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1611 consisted of singing his original song "The Octopus". Johnny did not receive enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1612, eliminating the group from the competition along with Dokteuk Crew instead of Josh Blue.

Johnny Showcase is the only act in the Season 16 live shows to receive a buzzer from a judge that is not Simon Cowell.
