The Wildcard Show episode of Season 16 was aired on August 10, 2021 exclusively on Peacock, one hour before the live airing of Episode 1609. It was a one-off Wildcard Show episode and took place at the Dolby Theatre. 5 acts performed for a Wildcard spot in the Quarterfinals. Unlike the normal live show rounds, the performances were pre-recorded, and the judges were absent.

Storm Large was announced as the winner of the Wild Card vote in Episode 1613.
