• It was originally stated that Nolan Neal would perform in this episode, but due to Thomas Day withdrawing, he took his spot in Episode 1513, a week before. Broken Roots replaced Thomas.
• Divas & Drummers of Compton had been speculated as being withdrawn due to one of their members testing positive for COVID-19, therefore it is likely the member recovered and the group was able to compete, although it is known if they did not recover in time to compete the replacement would have been Wesley Williams.
• This was the only quarterfinals as well as post-auditions episode this season that anyone buzzed a contestant.
• This is the only Quarterfinals episode that did not feature any acts that participated in the Judge Cuts.
• This is the first live performance episode since Episode 1317 to not end with a singing act.
• This is the first live show episode in which Sofia Vergara buzzed.
