Watchman Erol is a character featured in the The Legend of Zelda comics by Valiant Comics.[name reference needed] As his name suggests, he is one of the watchmen of the North Castle. He only briefly appears in He Also Serves.
Biography
When Ganon sneaks into the castle, disguised as Impa, trying to get link to step outside the castle, into a trap set by Ganon's minions who are laying in ambush, Link exposes him and orders Erol to refrain from opening the gate for anyone, because ganon cannot teleport outside the castle.[1] However, he accidentally opens it for Ganon, who was disguised as Link, but Ganon barely sets foot outside of the caste before being destroyed in his own trap.[2]
