Toados are enemies in Twilight Princess.^[1]

Characteristics

Toados only appear during the battle against Deku Toad in Lakebed Temple. They hatch from eggs on the back of the Deku Toad in large groups that simultaneously attack Link. Because they tend to group together while attacking, they are susceptible to Spin Attacks. It is also possible to defeat most of them before they hatch by shooting the back of the Deku Toad with Bomb Arrows.

Trivia

• Toados, like the Deku Toad, are based upon the Common Suriname Toad, a species which implants their eggs into their backs to provide protection until they are ready to hatch. However, the species seem to differ in that Suriname Toads emerge from the mother toad as a fully formed frog, rather than a tadpole.
