Pestos are around the size of normal flies. They appear in two different colors with different attack patterns: Red Pestos attack by flying down at Link, while Blue Pestos attack by dropping dirt balls onto him. There are also Tiny Pestos that fly around Mount Crenel, though they do not deal any damage to Link.

- In Japanese, Pesto's name (プーン (Pūn)) is similar to the name of Boon (ブーン (Būn)), suggesting a link between the two monsters.
