Gregal

Gregal is a character in The Minish Cap.[6]

Biography

Gregal & the Ghost (Figurine from The Minish Cap)

Gregal & the Ghost
An old man plagued by an evil spirit.
Coming to his aid will bring you benefit
in the end, so if you meet him, you must
find a way to help him.

Gregal is a member of the Wind Tribe who is plagued by a Ghost, and lies bedridden on the second floor of the Home of the Wind Tribe in the Cloud Tops. If Link Fuses Kinstone Pieces with Strato in Hyrule Town, a Portal to the Cloud Tops appears near Link's House in South Hyrule Field. The Portal leads to a limited portion of the Home of the Wind Tribe, where Link finds Gregal in his bed. Link can draw the Ghost into the Gust Jar, saving Gregal's life; if he speaks to Gregal, he will be rewarded with 100 Mysterious Shells.

If the Ghost is defeated, Gregal makes a full recovery by the time Link reaches the Home of the Wind Tribe via the Cloud Tops. If spoken to then, Link will receive the Light Arrows. There is a limited time to do this, however; if Link arrives at the Home of the Wind Tribe by way of Veil Falls before saving Gregal from the Ghost, Gregal will pass away, making the Light Arrow unobtainable.

If Gregal is saved, he becomes one of the potential characters to have a random Kinstone Fusion available.[7]
