Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Carrot Stews are made in Cooking Pots using Tabantha Wheat, Fresh Milk, Goat Butter, and either a Swift Carrot or an Endura Carrot. Regular Carrot Stew is made by either using both types of carrots or by using a filler as a fifth ingredient. Consuming one will restore eleven Hearts to Link's Life Gauge. They sell for 70 Rupees if a carrot and an additional ingredient are used and for 120 Rupees when both carrots are used. These stews are left to simmer for a long time, which brings out the carrots' sweetness.[1]
Using either type of carrot will result in one of two different variations of Carrot Stew:
- Enduring Carrot Stew:[3] Made using an Endura Carrot. Eating one of these will completely replenish and overfill Link's Stamina Wheel.[3] They also heal seven of his Hearts and sell for 100 Rupees.
- Hasty Carrot Stew:[4] Made using a Swift Carrot. When consumed, Link's speed will temporarily increase.[4] They also restore four Hearts to his Life Gauge, but they can also be sold for 40 Rupees.
