Bee Larva,(TP)[1] also known as Bee Larvae,(ST)[1] and Hornet Larvae,(SS)[1] are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.
Location and Uses
Twilight Princess
To obtain Bee Larva in Twilight Princess, Link can knock down any of the Beehives located in Ordon Village and Hena's Fishing Hole. After the Bees are defeated, the remains of the Beehive can be scooped up into an empty Empty Bottle. Each scoop contains ten Bee Larva. Bee Larva can also be purchased from Sera's Sundries for 10 Rupees.
In addition to being used as fishing bait, the Bee Larva can also be eaten by Link to recover a quarter of a Heart per Bee Larva. Link reacts with disgust when consuming Bee Larva.
Spirit Tracks
In Spirit Tracks, Bee Larvae are a common of Treasure. They can be found inside Jars, Treasure Chests, or under piles of leaves, as well as occasionally being dropped when a Beehive is destroyed. They can also be bought from shops or won from a Prize Postcard.
Link can sell Bee Larvae for 50 Rupees each, or trade them with Linebeck III in exchange for Train Parts.
Skyward Sword
In Skyward Sword, Hornet Larvae are Treasures used to Upgrade items at the Scrap Shop.
