Description
An airborne monster that can be recognized by its distinctive cries. They have strong, dexterous feet and can often be seen cruising through the sky with animals or other monsters in their clutches. Thankfully, the breed's lightweight, aerodynamic body makes it easy to shoot down.

Aerocuda Eyeball

Aerocudas make their debut in Tears of the Kingdom, being the second most common flying enemy in the game, after Keese. They fly towards Link and dive-bomb him, which can cause him to momentarily lose control if he is attacked while descending from the Sky. They can carry various monsters, such as Bokoblins, in addition to various objects such as Bomb Barrels and Snowballs to drop on Link. If they patrol a camp, they will alert the entire camp if they spot Link. One Aerocuda steals Tulin's Swallow Bow during Link's trek to the Wind Temple, prompting the Hero of Hyrule to get it back for him.

Trivia

The name likely comes from combining the words "Barracuda" and the greek root "Aero."
