Pumpkins are objects from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Ordinary pumpkins grown in vegetable patches, these can be broken in a variety of ways to uncover items such as Rupees and hearts. If Link attempts to use a stab attack on a pumpkin, it will become lodged onto the blade of his sword until he swings it again. They can be used as weapons for defeating Keese when they attack. Fledge uses pumpkins for the purposes of his Pumpkin Pull mini-game, in which he throws pumpkins that Link must hit with his Bow.
One pumpkin patch is found at Pumpkin Landing, behind the Lumpy Pumpkin, a structure which is itself designed in the shape of a pumpkin. The owner of the pub, Pumm, uses these pumpkins to make his famed Pumpkin Soup. At one point, Link can help Kina with the pumpkin harvest in order to pay off his debt to Pumm; he must carry a stack of five pumpkins to the nearby shed without dropping them. After doing this successfully once, any subsequent completions are rewarded with Rupees.
