David Jr. is a recurring character in the Legend of Zelda series.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

In an attempt to follow in his deceased father's footsteps, David Jr. became an explorer. At the age of seventeen, however, he was caught in a ship wreck and washed up on shore, where he was found by Tingle. Tingle forced him to work in the Tingle Tower with his younger brother, Ankle. David Jr. wears a white duplicate of Tingle's green outfit. If Link uses the Tingle Tuner, and talks to him, David Jr. makes a comment about Tingle being kinder when Link contacts him. If Link completes the Knuckle GBA event at Outset Island, Knuckle will take David Jr.'s place.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

David Jr., along with Tingle, Ankle and Knuckle appear. David Jr. is willing to perform a Kinstone Fusion with Link. He questions why he is helping Tingle, due to a lack of blood relation.

As part of the Link's Awakening DLC, Tingle's Standard Outfit (Koholint) is a David Jr. Recolor. It can be obtained on the Koholint Island DLC Map.
