Akiru (アキル) is a minor character who appears in the OVA of Shamshir Dance of the The Epic of Zektbach.
He is an Nasem Warrior from Kingdom of Azuelgatt. He is also a childhood friend of Shamshir.[1]

Akiru is a blacked-skin man with black short hair, brown eyes and wears a red scarf on the face.

Story
As an assistant general, he supports Shamshir's march. He is a man of honor in the army. After the war, when the people are terrified, he tries to separate Shamshir from his sword, the Colada d'el Cid, but he was killed by its. [2]
In the OAV, he is presented like a friend of Shamshir and he admired her. But he is attracted by the Colada del Cid during all the episode.
