A Duelist (デュエリスト^{[Note 1]} Dyuerisuto), or player (プレイヤー Pureiyā), is anyone participating in a Duel.

By extension, it is also used to describe anyone who frequently plays the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.
