Ubisoft Entertainment SA (formerly Ubi Soft Entertainment SA) is a French video game publisher.
History
Ubi Soft (formally named Ubi Soft Entertainment S.A.) was founded by Christian, Claude, Gérard, Michel and Yves Guillemot on March 28, 1986.[1]
On September 9, 2003, Ubi Soft changed its name to Ubisoft and introduced a new logo called "the swirl".[2]
Channel
On March 4, 2006, Ubisoft created their YouTube channel. The first video was uploaded on August 14, 2007, titled "Far Cry 2 dev diary 1".[3]

Film and television
Ubisoft Film & Television, now known as Ubisoft Motion Pictures, was established in 2011 to develop media related to Ubisoft's games. It has since expanded to include video game productions, including Assassin's Creed (2016), Rabbids Invasion (2013), and Mythic Quest (2020-present).
