Ryan Peters, better known online as PetersPasta, is an American YouTuber known for cooking pasta donated to his local Pittsburgh neighborhood in his own pasta restaurant. He is a well-known chef among the YouTue community and in his local town of Pittsburgh for creating all sorts of pasta for foods such as ravioli^[2], spaghetti^[3], and maccaroni.^[4]

Content

Peters' content mainly consists of shorts, with some ocassional long-form videos. His most popular content is his series where he uses eggs to knead into pasta, with the amount of eggs doubling each day.^[5] He often creates long strands of pasta and jokes about how his boss will fire him.^[6]

Some of Peters' popular videos also include him creating pasta in different colors, such as blue^[7][8], pink^[9], black^[10][11], and green.^[12]

Channel History

Peters created his YouTube channel on January 19, 2021. He uploaded his first video, titled "Pasta + Dad Jokes" on April 21, 2021. On February 21, 2023, he uploaded his first long-form video, titled "Making the Largest Batch of Pasta I've Ever Made, 256 eggs!". He ocassionally prepares and cooks his pasta with famous sports teams and their mascots in Pittsburgh^{[13][14][15][16]}, such as the Pittsburgh Riverhounds^[17], and the Pittsburgh Pirates^[18], along with their manager Derek Shelton.^[19] Aside from football teams, he also prepared pasta in West Virginia University.^[20]
