Lex Adrian Iwan (born: February 26, 1998 (1998-02-26) [age 27])^[1], known online as MrTLexify is a Canadian gaming YouTuber most known for his unique personality, Call of Duty gaming content as well as his Top 5 videos, similar to TheSmithPlays, who he was friends with, revealed by their many former collaborations and liking of the zombies series.

History

Lex mainly uploads videos the fps game Call Of Duty, mostly Black Ops 1 and 2; though not so much of Call of Duty: World at War. He has not uploaded any Call of Duty: Extinction videos as he is not very fond of the gamemode. He started to play Fortnite at a point but doesn't really play it anymore. Lex thoroughly enjoys Black Ops 3 Zombies, making an exception for the 2nd map of Black Ops 3, Zetsubou No Shima.

While Lex didn't want to give Infinite Warfare Zombies a chance at first, he later stated in his video "TOP 5 ZOMBIES IN SPACELAND WEAPONS/GUNS!!! (Traditional Video)" that he "genuinely thinks it is probably one of the greatest gamemodes he has played in a long time", making the point that he has already played the map more than The Final Black Ops 3 Zombies map "Revelations" and "it's still a lot of fun". This statement was made a week after the release of the zombies map.

It was revealed a while ago that Lex has a fond liking of the Kingdom Hearts series. He had an friend in high school that talked to him about the aforementioned series. He later passed away and Lex shared the story on his twitch channel.

Lex has no established upload schedule, uploading about every 2-4 weeks. Lex has been on YouTube since March 15, 2013, and has gained over 1 million subscribers ever since.

Controversies

Grooming Allegations

On July 22nd, 2024, Lex was accused of grooming minors, and subsequently responded the same day claiming his ex was the one grooming. His accuser, Reagan McNulty, known online as PureSoftie, who was in a relationship with him when he was 19 years old and she was 16, wrote a document alleging Lex had choked her during a verbal argument whilst she was smoking marijuana.

On August 7th, 2024, Lex denied the allegations with a video titled “My Ex”^[2]. Despite the response, Lex fell out with TheSmithPlays, NoahJ456 and JCBackFire after saying he wouldn't want to be friends with them again, who in turn still claim he is at fault.

An out of context clip from a video of JCBackFire featuring Lex from February, 2017 titled "THINGS PEOPLE SAY ABOUT OVERWATCH! (Year of the Rooster Update)" resurfaced where Lex were talking about Underage ficional characters, however this wasn't proof of anything as it was clear they were joking.^[3][4] On July 31, 2024, TheSmithPlays made a now-deleted video titled "My Response". On August 25, 2024, NoahJ456 also made a now-unlisted video titled "MrTLexify Lied." On September, 2024, Reagan made a 2 hour long video on Lex titled "My Story of Getting Groomed by My Favorite YouTuber: MrTLexify",^[5][6] in which she showed videos of her intoxicated at the ZHouse in Hollywood, California, in the video Lex gropes her while she's seen drunk, she also showed Dms he sent to another underaged girl.^[7]

Plagiarizing small Content creators

On June 27, 2024, Youtuber DIG_DUG7 made a video titled "LEX TRYING TO STAY RELEVANT BY TAKING FROM SMALLER CONTENT CREATORS". where Dig said that Lex was stealing his edits and also said that Lex blocks anyone who brings up the allegations or his past friends.^[8]

Trivia

• Lex claims he's Christian.
• Lex has an enormous forehead that has become a huge meme in his fanbase.
• Lex doesn't really like Exo Zombies too much but he says that it's not the worst thing in the world.
• He used to go to the Z House in Hollywood, California quite often.
• He also has an unexplained phobia for Minions, even though he owns a minion plush doll that sits behind him on a desk when he streams, it was gifted to him at the Z-House and he keeps it only as a meme. It might be false since he has not mentioned a minion in almost a full year.
• In the Z-House, whilst the others were freaking out about an 'intruder', Lex remained calm and just listened to music.
• Again in the Z-House, Lex's preferred weapon is a belt. Coming second after LonelyMailbox brought a butcher knife.
• Lex enjoys the Zelda series, making references and even owning a full size master sword.
• It is a meme, that Lex loves pepperoni pizza. He went as far as doing the 100 layers challenge with pepperoni pizza.
• Lex also has a burning hatred for round 71 on the map Gorod Krovi in Call of Duty: Black ops 3 zombies as he has met death on that round during several runs attempting to reach round 100 on the map. He did eventually made it to round 100 on March 18th, 2020.
• Lex used to do Round 100 and custom zombies streams for Black Ops III but after it turned out servers have a remote code execution exploit, Lex doesn't stream Black Ops III anymore.
